Winter Mini Retreat
with East Asian Medicine practitioners, Trish Twiford Perfetto & Michael Perfetto
Winter is the season to reflect, rest and restore. But with the rush of the holidays and everyday stresses, it’s easy to feel disconnected from the stillness that winter invites. Our Winter Mini Retreat offers you the time and space to relax, recharge, and reconnect with your body, mind, and spirit.
Through a combination of meditation, acupressure, qigong, breathwork, and journaling, this retreat is designed to help you step back from the busyness of life and find a moment of peace.
In this mini retreat we will:
-
Explore the East Asian philosophy of the Winter and learn its wisdom for being well during this season.
-
Practice Qigong together. Qigong is a form of meditative, gentle movements that allows the energy in your body to move more smoothly, creating a more quiet mind and awakened body.
-
Experience 2 Guided meditations together with breath-work.
-
Explore the teachings of the Winter in ourselves with reflective journaling and discussion
-
Seasonal Herbal Tea & Refreshments – Sip on soothing, seasonal teas and refreshments that enhance your sense of calm and relaxation.
-
NEWLY ADDED: You will receive a gentle acupressure treatment during the final meditation using adhesive seeds instead of needles, to activate points that will help relax more deeply and support the organ systems of the winter — The Kidney and Bladder.
